Recognition & Awards
As you will have read in the press, the results for last year were finally published. We were delighted to be in the top 5 of schools in Sandwell and for the second year running we are in the 100 MOST IMPROVED SCHOOLS IN ENGLAND. This is a tremendous achievement and rightly recognises the work of the staff.
We have received letters from the Department of Education in London as well as a letter of praise from our MP Sylvia Heal. We are all very pleased.
The school successfully collected its Basic Skills Quality Mark in April 2008 and Active Mark in 2007. These are extremely positive achievements for the school.
The school is applying for a number of awards. This section of the website will be updated as we achieve these awards.
