School Teams and Monitors
There are 3 house teams in the school. Each team has a boy and a girl house captain from Year 6. :- Ruby: Red House Team.
- Sapphire:Blue House Team.
- Emerald:Green House Team.
Children are awarded house points for good work and behaviour and each week the winning house receives a cup in assembly.

When we hold school sports events and children compete as individuals, they have a chance of earning points for their house.
All families are in the same house. The children like and respect the system and we think it is one of the reasons that behaviour here is very good (see Ofsted report 2007).
We give children a lot of responsibility and give them a variety of monitoring duties as they get older. This includes a school ‘buddy’ system.
