Our Childcare Service

Before & After-School Service

We run a daily Before-school care service during term-time. We provide breakfast and fun activities at the cost of £1.00 per day. This service opens at 8am and children are brought into school ready for the start of the day.

Parents can use the care as often or as little as needed, simply bring your child to the Community Mobile and hand them into the care of our staff.

A number of parents also use our After-school care. Staff from Riddins Mound (off Southbank Rd in Cradley Heath) collect the participating children from the school and take them to the childcare centre.

The staff provide the children with a drink and a snack before they are collected. Please bear in mind that, if you choose to use this service the latest they are to be collected is 6pm.  This is reliable low cost child care.

Holiday Care is also available from the same place. If you would like to book any of these care services, please contact

Kate Angell / Lisa Whitehouse (01384) 567162

Pre-School Nursery

This was opened at the start of the 2007 Term and runs daily during term-time for nursery aged children (between 3 and 4 years old). It starts at 11.30am, ends at 3pm and lunch is provided for a minimal cost.

For more information contact

Mrs Penny Garratt (01384) 569333

We also have close links with the playgroups at both SureStart in Valley Road Cradley Heath and The Salvation Army playgroup on Upper High Street.
